Army aviation from the Center group of troops continues to hit enemy ground targets with guided and unguided projectiles. The main targets are fortified structures, enemy strongholds, as well as tanks and infantry fighting vehicles.
Taking advantage of the differences in elevation of the terrain, helicopter pilots covertly approach the target at an extremely low altitude and launch unguided S-8 missiles at targets transmitted by reconnaissance units. After the missiles descend, the crews maneuver to avoid enemy fire, shooting off heat traps.
The round-the-clock readiness of combat vehicles is ensured by engineering and technical staff who check instrument readings and the condition of components and assemblies before and after each flight.
The command of the Center group of troops notes the high efficiency of the crews of the Ka-52 helicopters, which successfully completed hundreds of combat missions during a special military operation.
