How to fix " Only 50 points can be used for On Road navigation" with Garmin GPS Navigation Devices.
If you own a handheld Garmin GPS eTrex Navigation device and you've ever tried to export a GPX file using Garmin Basecamp to your handheld device you may well have come across the "Only 50 points can be used for On Road navigation" error. My Garmin GPS is a Garmin eTrex 35 Touch, despite not being a new model Garmin still retail this unit at just under £270, so it's not exactly an entry level budget model. I always thought that 50 navigation points seemed like quite a low number, especially when you consider that a recorded track could easily number in several hundred points. I'm sure this annoyance also features in several other handheld Garmin GPS navigation products, anyway this is how to use Garmin Basecamp to get around the annoying only 50 points error message.
