Top 3 Guns to Buy Before the Election 2022
On July 29, 2022, the US congress passed HR. 1808, a bill that seeks a ban on assault weapons. This is the first ban after 2004 which shows how dedicated and desperate the Biden administration is to ban the weapons. The President and his allies in congress are not shying away from showing their intent. 217 members of the house voted in the favor of the bill and 213 votes were cast against it. 5 Democratic voted against the bill whereas 2 Republicans favored it. So, what exactly is HR 1808 and what does it mean for gun owners? Stay with us to find out.
HR 1808 is a bill drafted by Republican Congressman, David Celine who criminalizes the sale, manufacturing, transfer, possession, and even import of a lot of weapons. The list of these weapons is extensive and will be discussed later on but in short, everything except Handguns, Pump Actions, Revolvers, Shotguns, and some other handguns are banned.
