How To Make Discreet Transistor AND and OR Gates

In this video we look at construction and use of both AND and OR gates made from discreet transistors. In the demonstration we used 2 C1815 NPN general purpose transistors. We padded the bases with 4.7k resistors and used another 4.7k on the emitter of transistor B to prevent thermal runaway. Yes it is probably easier to use a quad AND or OR gate, but this channel is about learning how things work and building gates from discreet components is the best way to do that.
