Domination is a speedrun category with people with much better times than I got here, but this was my best result so far.

Speedrun.com rules state:
"Beat the game with the domination victory.
Ancient era start.
Start time at first action. (City founding, Ordering a unit, Selecting a research, Skipping your turn)
End time on last click."

Domination victory is achieved by capturing enemy capital, the end screen is included as proof of victory. First action is pressing the button where I found a city, that's the frame where the timer starts. Then the time ends the last time I clicked the mouse before the victory screen popped up.

This category has one major strategy: Play as Attila, and get lucky. By making the map as small as possible you do your best to run into the AI quickly. You are dependent on an Ancient Ruin (sometimes called 'goodie hut') to give you a free unit upgrade on your first Warrior to make them a Battering Ram which is a unit unique to the Huns, easily capable of defeating the enemy capital. If you can't find a ruin or can't get a unit upgrade, you may as well re-roll your run.
