Recently discovered the recipe for egg tarts. Tried a PSMF spin on it. The macros are sinful for that taste!
Recipe:
For the Pastry:
Fluff up 3 egg whites (6 tbsp). Fold in 1/4 cup egg white powder and 1/4 cup sweetener.
Bake at 400 F for 10 min
For the filling:
Warm 1/8 cup almond milk. Mix in 2 tbsp sweetener, a pinch of salt and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Let it cool down (in the fridge).Mix in 4 egg whites (8 tbsp)
Bake at 400 for 30-40 min
