Homemade delicious 1905 salad recipe. We ate in Columbian restaurant at St. Agustin, Florida during our family summer vacation September 2022. Fresh ingredients made in front of us by our server. It was delicious appetizer with bread. We tried to make it at home for several times already. This recipe is so delicious with artisan bread. Feel free to try this recipe below and enjoy!

1905 Salad Recipe

Ingredients:
* 4 cups iceberg lettuce, chopped
* 1 box cherry tomatoes
* ½ cup turkey ham, julienned
* ½ cup Swiss cheese, julienne
* ½ cup green olive
* ¼ cup Romano cheese, grated
* 2 tablespoons Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
* 1 lemon juice

Preparation:
In a big salad bowl put dressing (dressing recipe below).
Combine lettuce, tomato, olives,Turkey ham, Swiss cheese, Parmesan cheese and oregano. Before serving, add Romano cheese, Worcestershire and the juice of 1 lemon. Toss well and serve immediately. Makes 2 full salads or 4 side salads.

Salad dressing:
* 1/2 cup extra-virgin Spanish olive oil
* 3 garlic cloves, minced
* 1 tbsp dried oregano
* 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
* Salt and pepper to taste
Mix olive oil, garlic and oregano in a bowl. Stir in vinegar and season with salt and pepper. For best results, prepare 1 to 2 days in advance and refrigerate.
