Unlike many of the other competitors at the 2024 Mustang Magic, Chris Phillips didn't start riding as a child. In fact he didn't start riding until 45 years old! Now he is competing as a mustang trainer in the 2024 Mustang Magic! Once I heard that he didn't start riding until 45, I just had to ask him for an interview to share his story of how he got started. Hear about the challenges he faces, but also the advantages he saw to having a late start with horses.
