Federal ministers hold a news conference at the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, Quebec, marking the first anniversary of the release of the government’s action plan on missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and 2SLGBTQQIA+ people. Taking part in the event are ministers Marc Miller (Crown–Indigenous relations), Patty Hajdu (Indigenous services), and David Lametti (justice), as well as Hilda Anderson-Pyrz (chair of the National Family and Survivors Circle) and Sylvia Maracle (representative from the 2SLGBTQQIA+ community).
