Dr. Younan Nowzaradan, more famously known as Dr. Now, has become a reality TV star in his own right as he helps patients navigate their weight-loss journeys in the TLC hit series- My 600-lb Life. The famous surgeon places the show’s cast members under a strict diet which is then followed by gastric bypass surgery to further assist their weight loss progress.

Viewers have seen the Iranian-American surgeon embroiled in numerous dramatic and controversial moments on the show, and his personal life has had its fair share of drama too.
