Why does Mace Windu have the unique and powerful Purple Lightsaber?

In Canon, the color of a Force User’s lightsaber is determined by their alignment and affinity in the force. When they harvest their crystal, their force energy is immediately poured into the Kyber, giving it its color. For example, one who is strong in the living force and lightsaber combat will attune their crystal to blue, someone strong in the cosmic force will harvest a green crystal, while those in the middle will get yellow…

Purple however is granted when a force user is firmly planted in the Light Side of the Force, but often dips into the dark side, never going too far… This is why when Mace Windu bonded with his Kyber Crystal, it turned to the very rare colour of purple, which has only been seen a few times in the history of the Jedi order…
