In the Maasai Tribe in Kenya women build the houses known as manyattas. Manyattas are semi-permanent because Maasai people are traditionally nomadic and move from place to place in search of greener pastures and water for their cattle. Here, the woman uses a mixture of mud, cowdung and ash to plaster the wall.
