Try this one pot pasta with tomato sauce!
This pasta dish requires only one pan, few basic ingredients.
In this Foodie Adventure you will learn how to use simple ingredients o create something unique and special.
No unnecessary dishes as name says it all ONE POT.
This dish is loved by both adults and kids. This easy recipe can be made with any kind of pasta you have at home and you also can adjust and add any veggies that you like. If you exclude the parmesan from this version, it would be a great vegan pasta dish.


Ingredients

4 tbsp olive oil
1 cup chopped white onion
1/2 cup garlic chopped
1/2 cup carrots chopped-(blended roughly)
1/2 cup white wine
5 cups fresh tomato-(alternative 2 canned tomato san marzano works best)
1 oz basil
1 tbsp italian seasoning-(oregano)
1/4 tbsp chili flakes
Salt- to taste
Pepper- to taste
Water 4 cups
White sugar 1 tbsp
1 Lb any tube pasta-(here used rigatoni)
2 oz butter
Parmesan-(personal preference)
Green onion garnish-(parsley also good)

Prep

In a pot over medium heat saute onions and garlic.
Add carrots and bind together.
Deglaze with white wine and let it cook off.
Add tomato, herbs, seasoning and simmer for 5 min.
Add water and cook till tomato is soft.
Blend and reduce till desired consistency is reached.
Add pasta and cook for personal preference.
Serve!
