Mandela Barnes has conceded in Wisconsin's U.S. Senate race, leaving incumbent Ron Johnson the winner in the crucial election.
"I fought the good fight, I've run my race, and thank you for having faith in me," Barnes said during his concession speech at the Sherman Phoenix in Milwaukee.
Johnson clinched 51 percent of the vote, compared to Barnes' 49 percent, according to TMJ4's election results page. The difference between the candidates is about 27,000 votes.
