You may not know, but the Brentwood Police Department has a volunteer willing to work with victims impacted by a crime. Amy Crossland has more than a decade of experience working in the criminal justice system. The majority of her experience is from her work with the Williamson County District Attorney’s Office where she served as the Assistant Victim Witness Coordinator.
Crossland is the first victim advocate for the department and contacts those who have been victims of crime in the City of Brentwood. She helps people with assessing their needs, navigating through the court process, and helping with additional services such as counseling.
