Tributes have continued to flood in for two talented first-year students and a school caretaker after they were stabbed to death during a violent rampage in Nottingham.
Medical student Grace O’Malley-Kumar and history student Barnaby Webber, who were both studying at the University of Nottingham (UoN), were found fatally knifed in the street by police at 4.04am on Tuesday.
The third victim, Ian Coates, 65, who was a caretaker for Huntingdon Academy primary school, was on his way to work when he was stabbed and had his van stolen.
Eyewitness Jason Derbyshire describes what he saw as the triple-murder suspect tried to gain access to the property where he lives after the killings.
