According to a report in French media, the former leader of France's far-right National Front party received a EUR 2 million loan from a former KGB officer. Paris-based news agency Mediapart reports that Jean-Marie Le Pen accepted the money from a holding company owned by Yuri Kudimov, who used to work for the KGB and who headed Russia's VEB bank until October of this year.
