Ο Δρ. Νίκος Ξανθούλης είναι Συνθέτης, Καλλιτεχνικός Σύμβουλος Εθνικής Λυρικής Σκηνής, Επιστημονικός Συνεργάτης Ακαδημίας Αθηνών και Αντεπιστέλλον Μέλος Αρχαιολογικού Ινστιτούτου της Αμερικής.
Υπηρέτησε για 25 χρόνια ως κορυφαίος Α΄ τρομπετίστας της Ορχήστρας της ΕΛΣ από το 1984 έως το 2009. Τα τελευταία 10 χρόνια έχει αφιερωθεί στη μελέτη της αρχαίας ελληνικής λύρας.
Dr. Nikos Xanthoulis presents a seven-stringed lyre of our workshop as well as the playing techniques of the instrument.
Dr. Nikos Xanthoulis is a Composer, Artistic Consultant at the Greek National Opera, Assistant Researcher at the Academy of Athens and he is also a corresponding member of the Archaeological Institute of America. He served as principal trumpet player of the Greek National Opera for 25 years (1984-2009). For the last 10 years he is focused on the study of the ancient Greek lyre.
Our objective is not profit but one’s acquaintance with the Ancient Hellenic Culture.
