Hey everyone, we're back with the Digitakt in this video, feels like it's been a while!
In this tutorial, I'll bring you through my process of chopping a long-form melodic sample as the basis of a beat or premise of a song. The visual nature of the Digitakt's source page is really great for this. Using dense, longer samples really lends itself to experimenting and playing around with different chunks of melodic and chordal material. With practice, it becomes easy (and very fun) to make multiple different progressions and passages.
Thanks as always for watching!
