Every year on the eleventh hour, of the eleventh day, of the eleventh month Canadians gather together in two minutes of silence to remember the soldiers who died for us...We wear our poppies as a reminder of all the people who died in the war. The red of the poppy is said to resemble the blood that was shed on the battlefield...lest we never forget.
