2,400 personnel, 80 tanks and some 20 aircraft and helicopters...Japan holds its largest-scale live-fire drill. It comes as reports say the Defense Ministry plans to seek a record-high budget of 5.26 trillion yen (48.1 billion U.S. dollars) for fiscal 2018. The country's defense budget has been on the rise from fiscal 2013 under Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's government.
