In this talk, Dr. Chris Lukose addresses the stress that most people face and illustrates how yoga can be crucial in dealing with this stress in a healthy manner. Rather than just explain common perceptions on yoga, Dr. Lukose conveys how yoga is not just one type of form or position, but rather a state of mind that anyone can cultivate. Chris Lukose is a Doctor of Pharmacy graduate who currently works at biopharma, AbbVie. He also volunteers with the Isha Foundation, an international non-profit organization. In 2016, Chris spent almost a year in India training to teach Classical Hatha Yoga and working with the foundation to offer holistic programs for personal well being, incorporating eastern and western medicine, yoga, meditation, etc. Chris continues to teach Classical Hatha Yoga both independently and for the Isha Foundation.
