These are not inter related. Basically the question is about polycystic ovaries, but scanty bleeding, irregular cycles are all part of polycystic ovaries, not related to frequent urination at all. Frequent urination is part of UTI. They are treated differently. If we have to put all these things of frequent urination, scanty bleeding, there can be an ovarian cyst, the cyst may be so huge that it is pressing on the ureter, or the urethral part or the lower part of the bladder which is causing all these frequent micturition. Frequent micturition will happen when there is a mass sitting in the lower abdomen, which is pushing on to the bladder. So they are not going to cause frequent micturition. An ultrasound scan has to be done to rule to see how the uterus and ovaries are. Inspite of that if there is frequent micturation, then rule out urinary tract infection and treat appropriately. Scanty periods may be part polycystic ovaries. That needs the gynecologist to look into the patient. Counsel the patients and methods to bring it down. They are not otherwise interrelated.
