Hi everyone! I'm so excited to be starting an exciting series for this week! This week, I will bring you a variety of scenes from the recent mystery thriller, "Last Night in Soho"! This was probably my most anticipated film of the year since it had two of my favorite actresses in it and was a horror-adjacent thriller based in the 60s! I mean, what else could I want?! I really enjoyed the final product and thought it was a really fun film.
In this scene, Eloise speaks to her Grandmother on the phone and ultimately fails to convince her that everything is fine. I really enjoyed Thomasin Mckenzie's performance in this scene and her ability to showcase a range of emotions within such a fast-paced conversation.
THIS IS MY FIRST TIME EXPERIMENTING WITH ACTUAL SCENE AUDIO! I was worried that it would sound choppy and weird but I actually think it translated well - it sounds like I'm actually in the scene. What do you guys think?? This method could really open some doors for me in terms of scenes I could tackle without having to find a reader.
Have you guys seen LAST NIGHT IN SOHO yet? What did you think? I know a lot of people complained that it was "all over the place" but I simply thought it was a good time LOL!
As always, thanks so much for the constant support, and any suggestions are welcome!
Stay well,
Reegan

So, how is everything? You never tell me anything anymore.
Eliouse
Everything’s great, Gran.
Guys on street
Goodnight, beautiful. I’ll see you tomorrow.
Gran
Who was that?
Eliouse
Uh no one. We’re at the pub. A whole bunch of us. Having fun.
Gran
We?
Eliouse
Yeah, hurricane Jocasta. Everyone, really, The whole class.
Gran
Something’s wrong.
Eliouse
No! No.
Gran
Ellie, I can hear it in your voice.
Eliouse
Gran, I really am at the pub! I’m working here!
Gran
Working there? Why?
Eliouse
I moved out the halls.
Gran
Oh no, What..
Eliouse
Needed to get a place on my own.
Gran
Did something happen? Did you see her again?
Eliouse
No. No, Mum’s not here with me.
Gran
Then what is it? What’s wrong please tell me.
Eliouse
Look, I should go back in.
Gran
I know you think you have something to prove but it’s okay to ask for help. She didn’t.
Eliouse
Gran, I have to go. I love you.
Gran
Love you too.
