Second hand 4264 chips can often arrive broken. I bought this pre-assembled DRAM tester to test a few MT4264 chips I'd bought for my Apple IIc. See how it is to use and how many of the chips passed the test.

The "Dynamic RAM (DRAM) Tester" from analog-kid can test 4027/4096/4116/4516/4816/4532/3732/4164/4128/41256/4264/etc chips. These can be found in the ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, Apple II, arcade machines, and other retro computers.

This is the "1 bit DRAM Tester (Rev 3)" by Simon Raybould. He has since released newer revisions.
