In typical me fashion, a new thing came out the moment I left to go do something. That thing was the Wicked Implement. To gain access to the "secret mission," you need to catch 1 of each exotic fish, then activate 3 statues while in Deep Dive (the first being before stage 1 in the water area, the second being after stage 1 in the stage 1 arena and the third being before stage 2 in the water area). If you are successful in stage 2, a doorway opens in the stage 2 arena, which leads you to the secret objective.

There are quite a few things to discuss about this mission and I realize it's old news at this point, but I still wanted to talk about it.
