I thought this was an intended part of Zone300, but no: it's a GLBoom bug.
This is a display-freeze bug when grabbing the invulnerability that happens in PrBoom+ 2.5.1.4 and 2.5.1.5, but not in 2.5.1.7 (must have been fixed since then).
How to reproduce the bug:
1 - Launch OBS with a "Game Capture" source active and visible. No need to record or stream. Also launch GLBoom.
2 - In Options - General - Go to the last page by pressing the Right Arrow 7 times - set "Enable External Hi-Res" to "Yes". Exit GLBoom to save the settings.
3 - Launch GLBoom with doom2, and IDCLEV08. Open the 2nd door to the left of the red door, and grab the invulnerability. It should work normally.
4 - Alt+Enter to make GLBoom windowed or full-screen. Display should be frozen for as long as the inverted black&white effect lasts.
How to fix the bug:
5 - In Options - General - Go to the last page by pressing the Right Arrow 7 times - set "Enable External Hi-Res" to "No".
PS: Well, this actually does not fix the bug completely. Even with the "Enable External Hi-Res" option disabled, I've come across this bug again while blind-running Sunlust. I believe there must be multiple options / combinations that trigger this bug. Not sure which.
