In stealth, repeatedly shooting in the direction of a guard will intimidate them, forcing them to crouch (a mechanic also known as SUPPRESSION). The effect is temporary for patrolling guards, but permanent for stationary guards, but its effects are often misinterpreted. This video explains in detail how to trigger it, its effects and misconceptions, the rules behind it, and many of its applications.
