This videos shows you how to create a diffusion simulation with a moving phase boundary using the Diffusion Module (DICTRA) in the graphical mode of Thermo-Calc. Three different ways to set up the simulation are presented.
In this video, the growth of ferrite (BCC) into austenite (FCC) is simulated for a Steel with 0.15% carbon. The first two simulations presented in this video are isothermal, and the third is non-isothermal.
