This week we disembark from the ferry from Patras to Bari and head north.
After around 5-6 hour drive on the Italian toll road we made Cupra Marittima. This was a nice little stopover to break up the journey to north of Italy. We have to say that the scenery from Bari to Cupra Marittima was rather uninspiring but then we were on the toll road.
From here we went to the country of San Marino. This was a lovely gem and we were so glad we decided to stop here and spend the day looking around. Free park up aire for the night was pretty good to allow us to look around San Marino.
This is the point where are dear old friends Sharon, Martin and their dog Millie left us and headed back to the UK at warp speed. We, however, meandered through Italy to Lake Garda and Merano and Saint Valentino before crossing into Austria and into Germany which is where next vlog continues.
