Since ancient times, puja (yajna) has been of great importance in the Vedic Tradition. Without it, no important work begins!

🕉️WHO DOES THE CEREMONY
Puja is performed only by specially trained people from the Brahmin caste - pujaris or pandits. Because it requires perfect concentration and knowledge. It is necessary to know by heart huge volumes of ancient sacred texts, to understand the astrological influences of the planets.

🔥FIRE - THE MAIN ELEMENT OF THE CEREMONY
The obligatory element of the puja is Fire. It is considered the purest of the material elements that connect us with the subtle worlds. During the puja, ghee, fruits, sweets and flowers are offered to the fire, and through it to the higher energies, for their condescension and support, protection.

🕉️PRONUNCIATION OF MANTRAS
During the puja, Sanskrit mantras are recited. This ancient language activates various areas of the brain, effectively influencing the human condition and the entire surrounding nature. Traditionally, every course @yogavidyaschool starts with this Pooja Ceremony.
Performing rituals, reading mantras, the aroma of incense and flowers - the very atmosphere will fill you with inner peace, joy and inspiration.

But, of course, holding a puja carries a deep meaning. This is an important moment when each participant creates a sankalpa - a firm intention to successfully complete the training.
