Though I’ve never been to Taiwan, I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying Taiwanese beef noodle soup in some great Taiwanese restaurants. This incredible soup is packed with flavor, featuring tender beef, crushed tomatoes, star anise, ginger, onion, garlic, and Chinese noodles.
The magic begins by simmering these ingredients together, allowing them to meld into a rich, aromatic broth. After about an hour and a half of cooking, the beef becomes melt-in-your-mouth tender. A touch of Three Crabs fish sauce elevates the dish, adding that authentic umami punch.
