As part of this patient's facial sculpting treatment plan, I also injected some hyaluronic acid-based filler in his lips to slightly lift and soften his lips without augmenting them too greatly. He already has a nice "W" shape to his lips but his Cupid's bow is descending on one side. The goal is to inject filler around the border of his Cupid's bow to tweak the contour of his lips without giving them that feminine 'keyhole' appearance. For best results, the injector must be very meticulous with the administration of the filler and must have a very deep understanding of facial anatomy in order to leave very little room for complications to arise.
