[ Ссылка ] - My wife and I just celebrated our 10 year Anniversary, so for Thanksgiving 2009 I thought it would be extremely romantic to take her out to Charleston, South Carolina where they filmed her favorite movie The Notebook written by Nicholas Sparks in 1996. We spent 2 full days on a quest to visit most of the monumental locations where they filmed the scenes from this romantic masterpiece. We started our voyage at the Boone Hall Plantation which was used for scenes of the Hamilton's summer home, then shoot down to Mount Pleasant which served as the location for the films fictional town of Seabrook, South Carolina. We then drove about 5 miles up the road to Kink Street in downtown Charleston where the historic American Theater in located, this is where Allie and Noah watch their first movie together. Also on King Street and Mary Street Noah and Allie would lie in the middle of the street looking up at the traffic light. On day 2 of our tour we drove about 15 miles to Martins Point Plantation on Wadmalaw Island to find a private property sign - however we would take our chances and drive up the driveway only to see the house that Noah would rebuild for Allie in the Movie, this was one of the most beautiful homes that we both had ever seen, not only in the movie - but also in person.
