How to make peppermint extract using fresh mint leaves and vodka. It's so easy and will save you money in the long run! Perfect for baking, homemade toothpaste, etc.

- 1/2 cup of rinsed fresh mint leaves - I used peppermint
- about 1 1/4 cup of vodka - any brand
- add both to your mason jar, gently shake it up daily and place in a cool dark place

It's THAT easy!
