Temperance Grapefruit Collins
2 oz. Grapefruit juice
1 oz. Lime juice
1/2 oz. Simple syrup
2 oz. Soda water
Garnish: Grapefruit wheel
Resolution Buck
1 oz. Ginger syrup
1 oz. Lime juice
6-8 Mint leaves
3 oz. Ginger beer
Garnish: Mint sprig
Ginger syrup (Jeffrey Morgenthaler's recipe)
1/2 lb. Fresh ginger (cut into 1/2 in. chunks)
1 cup boiling water
1/2 lb. Sugar
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a bottle.
