This retrospective video clip is from a CBS reunion special first broadcast on November 11, 2003, and is our third of our three part retrospective of the Andy Griffith Show. The show ended its historic television primetime run fifty years ago this month (April 1, 1968), having started in the fall of 1960.
In this third clip, Jim Nabors (Gomer Pyle) joins Andy Griffith, Ron Howard and Don Knotts in looking back at the series and the genuine good time they had on that landmark series.
Thank you one and all who played a part in the creation and production of this wonderful series... four generations (and counting) of television viewers are very grateful for your efforts and accomplishments.
This video clip is presented here on YouTube for the entertainment and informational value of the viewer, and no copyright infringement is intended.
Enjoy.
Later this week, we continue to look back at the series and accomplishments of one of television's pioneers and the legacy of television shows he helped produce, Sheldon Leonard.
