Whenever I start a new game of Fallout 4, it always goes the same way.

The Vault-Tec Rep arrives at the front door, I am unfailingly polite and I swiftly register for entry into Vault 111.

When the bombs start falling, I run straight to the Vault – and that’s when things start to get even worse for my player character.

In this video, I take a look at what happens if you try to fight that fate.
