Turkish designer Nedret Taciroglu presented her Winter 2012 "One Rug Thousands of Words" collection during an Feb. 29 evening reception at the Turkish Embassy.
Ambassador Namik Tan termed the internationally acclaimed designer one of Turkey's "greatest talents." Ms. Taciroğlu, who created an 18-piece collection for former First Lady Nancy Reagan, also produces a line of fashionable home accessories.
This collection on view at the home of the Turkish ambassador was a continuation of her previous designs steeped in Turkish and Anatolian themes, including motifs and warm colors used in traditional Turkish carpets.
