This is my first ever backpacking trip in Colorado! I am joined by my niece Christine of "This Girl Hikes" (channel link: [ Ссылка ] ). We hike along the gorgeous Pine River Trail in the Weminuche Wilderness (part of the San Juan National Forest). On night one we encounter a severe thunderstorm and must re-assess our situation. We work it out though and wind up spending 3 nights in the wilderness total although maybe not consecutively. Watch to find out what happens! The scenery is beautiful. I cannot wait to explore more of Colorado.
