Rishon's science class in school is now studying sound waves, so in this experiment, Rishon is using a piece of software called Soundcard Oscilloscope to simulate a scientific instrument called an oscilloscope and signal generator. Oscilloscopes are used to display sine waves generated by a signal and the signal generator makes signals of different frequencies, volumes and amplitudes. Rishonl examines the different sounds that different frequencies produce and how those sounds make solids vibrate. The Soundcard Oscillocope software is produced by Christian Zeitnitz and uses your computer’s soundcard to produce the sound of the signal you generate and display its sine wave on the screen. The software is free for non-commercial and educational use, and is available at [ Ссылка ]
