Located along the Straights of Johor, Singapore has a population of over 5 million people, and has one of the largest economies in the world. Throughout the video, I explain how Singapore is designed so well, and how it became the economic giant it is today. I break down everything from Singapore separating from Malaysia, to the 1958 Masterplan that transformed the country, and the new, 2019 Masterplan that hopes to continue Singapore's ambitious urbanization plans for decades into the future.
The new 2019 Masterplan will invest over $100 Billion Dollars into future urbanization plans. The government hopes it will help support a larger population in the future, and also help their economic growth at the same time.
