A loose or unstable knee replacement is a common problem people begin to have years after knee surgery.

It's possible for the artificial knee replacement parts could loosen or wear down.

The medical cement used to hold the parts to the bone can fail and crack loose.

And the bone that contacts the knee replacement can fracture.

If the problem goes on for too long, it can cause the knee replacement to fail which might lead to having a knee replacement revision surgery in some people.

Thankfully, in most cases, it's possible to help a loose or unstable knee joint without surgery by resolving the underlying root muscle imbalance that sets up too much pressure in the knee joint.
