We’ve all been there. We follow our eating plan perfectly throughout the day but when 9 PM rolls around we’re STILL hungry! In some cases, this may be true, but quite often it’s just our “lower brain” tricking us again. And, if we’re not careful, we’ll go ahead and have that piece of pie because the lower brain has told us, “Tomorrow will be different.”
Most of us are busy and distracted throughout the day, so it’s easy for us to tune out the lower brain. But many people struggle with nighttime eating because it’s often the first time during the day when the lower brain has a chance to take over and suggest, “Hey, we’re still hungry!”
In this video, Heather shares a tip for “testing” to see if you’re really hungry or if it’s just part of the habitual pattern your lower brain has created.
