Ghislaine Maxwell Arrest
The big news last week was the arrest of Ghislaine (“Gee-lane”) Maxwell, the former girlfriend and assistant to Jeffrey Epstein.
The arrest occurred at a large home in New Hampshire, where Ms. Maxwell was living, after she had been sought for more than a year by Federal authorities.
She faces charges of sexual abuse against minors, perjury, and conspiracy for her actions in helping solicit and groom underage girls to take part in sexual acts with Epstein and others.
With Ms. Maxwell set to be transferred to New York to face charges, there are many questions regarding what information she could provide that could implicate others for their crimes, and what the potential fallout could be as a result.

1. We have heard a lot about the case and some big names have been mentioned, such as Prince Andrew and Bill Clinton. What is being alleged that could implicate such high-profile people?
- I’ll say that this case is a conspiracy theorist’s dream.
- There’s too much to cover in a single segment, but essentially Jeffrey Epstein and Ms. Maxwell are believed by some to have organized a Pedophile ring, allowing high-level men access to underage girls.
- And it is believed that Ms. Maxwell and Mr. Epstein kept evidence of these activities, including video evidence, in order to Blackmail these high-level people.
- Some have speculated this blackmail was the true source of Mr. Epstein’s wealth.
- So the interest in this case is heightened due to the prospect that Ms. Maxwell, who is looking at spending the rest of her life in prison, will cooperate with the Feds and “name names,” with very prominent figures being implicated and facing potential criminal charges.
2. Is there any indication that she will cooperate with Prosecutors and give up this information?
- It’s all speculation at this point, but there are some strange things that have occurred that suggest it might be the case.
- Remember a few weeks ago that AG Barr fired the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York
o At the time, it was seen as a political move to protect President Trump.
- But then Ms. Maxwell just happens to be arrested a short time later, and her case just happens to be with the Southern District of New York.
o And her case is being handled by the “Corruption Unit” of that office.
o I think that is very significant, as I would have expected her case to be in the Organized Crime unit, since it involves alleged sex-trafficing.
o So the fact it is with the Public Corruption unit strongly suggests that some kind of public official may be implicated – such as a politician, or multiple politicians.
- Additionally, Ms. Maxwell is a citizen of the U.S., the U.K., and France.
- Why was she hiding in the U.S. and not France? Roman Polanski has been living out in the open in France for over 40 years and has avoided extradition, as an example.
o This suggests she may have already been working with the Feds and her entire arrest may have been pre-ordained, planned event.
- Again, this is speculation, but when you look at some of this information, it certainly points in the direction of her cooperating with the Prosecutors, giving them information on “bigger fish,” probably in exchange for a more lenient sentencing.
- Then again, she may just be confident she can beat the charges.
o Remember that Mr. Epstein pled guilty and served over a year in prison in 2008 – but that plea agreement granted immunity to any of his potential co-conspirators.
- So it may be that her legal team has been preparing her defense from the moment Mr. Epstein was arrested and she felt confident facing the charges.
- Time will tell, and it will be very, very interesting.
