From Maple Grove Hospital to a Plymouth senior living center, Feb. 29 was a day to celebrate a rare birthday occasion. The chances of being born on Feb. 29 are 1 in 1,461. Mal Moore, a resident of Trillium Woods, turned 92 on Feb. 29, but it’s only his 23rd leap day. “The average age here is 70 or something like that up in there,” said Moore. “So I laid claim to being the youngest guy in residence.”
