Panther Creek Falls is a popular hiking destination in Northeast Georgia. There is a parking area off of Old 441. The trail passes under US 441 and a set of power lines. Near the beginning and towards the end near the falls there are some rock outcroppings one traverses. The trail also follows a relative flat section along the creek. There is a set of shoals around mile 2.3 - one must continue to see the falls - as you approach the falls there is a upper section and just a little further the main falls. The sandy shore of the falls allows ample space to view it.
