This 4th of July I went to a friend's house for a pool party so I wanted to bring a food and drink that would be easy to eat and a drink that would keep us cool in the Florida heat.
Ingredients for Red, White & Blue Sangria:
1 Bottle Dry White Wine
1 Bottle Champagne
1 cup White Grape Juice
(the following fruit add as much as you want, I used a container of each from my local grocery store)
For the red:
Strawberries and Raspberries
For the blue:
Blueberries and Blackberries
For the White:
Honeycrisp Apples
It would have definitely been very helpful and saved time if I had a star shaped cookie cutter. However, my Publix did not have one so I improvised. I would've gone to a Party City or a store like that, but I was short on time and still learning the area I live in Orlando so I wasn't sure where to go.
Ingredients for the American Flag 7-layer Taco Dip:
1 lbs of ground beef
1 can of refried beans
1 container of sour cream
1 bag of shredded lettuce
1 bottle of salsa
olives
cherry tomatoes
1 bag of Mexican cheese
Tennessee Homemade Wines Website (they have a great wine club and ship to most states, but if you find yourself in Gatlinburg they are right on the main strip and do free tastings so I highly recommend stopping by!):
