Nina Vasan’s Bio:
Dr. Nina Vasan authored the Amazon #1 best-selling book Do Good Well, which was praised by Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Muhammad Yunus as "the primer for social innovation.” She worked with Director-General Dr. Margaret Chan in the World Health Organization and served on the Obama Presidential Campaign’s Health Policy Advisory Committee. Dr. Vasan founded the American Psychiatric Association’s Psychiatry Innovation Lab, which has helped incubate 60+ mental health startups, and is Chair of the APA Committee on Innovation. She worked at McKinsey & Co. in Silicon Valley and most recently was an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Venrock. She completed residency in psychiatry at Stanford, where she was Chief Resident. She received an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, an MD from Harvard Medical School, and an AB in Government from Harvard College.
