✮✮✮Spoilers for Lost Stars - Silent Thaw✮✮✮

Shadowsight is a medicine cat apprentice of ShadowClan. When StarClan becomes silent and distant, he is the Clans only connection with them since he still receives visions. These visions include Bramblestar (ThunderClan's leader) and Tigerstar (Shadowsight's father) fighting one another in a blaze, and a warning of the "Codebreakers". After receiving these visions, he keeps them to himself until ThunderClan's leader falls suddenly ill. Shadow is told by what seems to be StarClan, the cure for this mysterious illness. Believing he is doing good for the Clans, he takes action and eventually Bramblestar is healed, or that is what it seems to be. As ShadowClan gets plagued by injuries and fatalities, Shadowsight believes that telling the Clans about his vision of codebreakers is the right thing to do. Soon, cats come to the conclusion that the Bramblestar that recovered from the illness was not him, but an imposter because of his unjust and cruel actions towards codebreakers. His actions include purposely hurting his own clanmates and exiling them, inlcuding his deputy Squirrelflight. Shadowsight becomes guilty because he unknowingly listened to an evil spirit rather than StarClan. A SkyClan apprentice Rootpaw, who has the ability to see the real Bramblestar in ghost form, join forces with Shadowsight and cats who are against Bramblestar. The imposter soon attempts to murder Shadowsight in order to keep him quiet and from ruining his devious plans to destroy the Clans.
